The LIT Open Innovation Center at JKU is intended to be the place in Upper Austria where the transfer of state-of-the-art university knowledge to society in general and the economy in particular takes place. The LIT OIC serves as a modern platform for collaboration and exchange for interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research groups whose goal is to advance technology.
KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER
In addition to creating a favorable climate for cooperation, current research findings are actively conveyed and transferred through various internal and external event formats.
OPEN SPACE FACILITATES RESEARCH COLLABORATIONS
In addition to new or intensified research collaborations with existing companies, active start-ups and spin-offs are potential outcomes of the interdisciplinary exchange process.
Additionally, it includes a convenience store and a cleanroom area.
